The Basics of On-Page SEO

On-page SEO is optimizing individual web pages in order to bring your ranking higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines.

As search engines evolved, so did their methods and they developed new algorithms to index sites. To ensure relevance and avoid false positives, these changes affected not just individual pages but entire sites. This created more challenges to SEO, particularly for SEO’ers that have built a relationship with a publisher that allows them to link to each other’s sites.

What SEO’ers do

To combat this, SEO’ers build relationship with publishers in order to maintain a relevant link network. This link network is then used by SEO’ers to maintain a relationship with publishers. This network is then used to build a relationship with publishers. In order to earn a link from a publisher they must be relevant and of value to them, as well as publishers.

Why you should include Optimization SEO in your On-Page SEO mix

While traditional SEO’ers will argue that having a good on-page SEO is enough to rank high, I don’t think that’s correct. To really succeed you need to use on-page SEO along with on-page optimization, and even then, you need to combine both in order to rank highly.

• On-page SEO
• On-page optimization

Here’s how to accomplish the on-page SEO,

• Title tags
• A strong meta description
• Meta tags that point to relevant pages
• Internal links
• Title and meta descriptions
• Headlines
• A powerful image
• Descriptions
• Descriptions that point to similar content
• Keywords
• Phrases
• Entries
• Take the time to write a compelling story that describes your business
• Make use of “analysis” in your meta descriptions. This is the new “analysis.” It’s used to get a higher placement and a higher rating. (Remember, the higher you get, the better the placement.)
• Captcha
• Meta descriptions

If you build an excellent on-page SEO, you can use this to get a link from a publisher to your website. In some instances, publishers will allow you to link to their sites if you have an excellent on-page SEO.

1. Submit your site to directory sites that are targeted towards your industry
2. Submit your site to directories that are targeted towards consumers
3. Submit your site to sites that are targeted towards websites
4. Submit your site to SEM directory sites that are targeted towards websites

In the last two-three weeks, search engine traffic has dramatically increased around the holidays. I am seeing traffic coming in twice as fast as I was seeing around Christmastime. So here is my advice for getting your own on-page SEO,

5. Make sure you write your meta descriptions to the reader, not for the search engine
6. Don’t make your meta descriptions all long passages about you and what you do
7. Give the search engine what it wants – quick hits about the products you are advertising
8. Make sure you have a backlink to your own site. (A backlink is just another word for a link. It is a site where you can link to other sites. Usually, these links go to the website owners personal sites. Or the site owner’s page)
9. Make sure you write the content of your meta descriptions well!

There you go! This is my list. Keep in mind this is only some of the on-page SEO tricks that I have done. If you have any you’d like to add, please comment below. I’m always reading your comments

On-Page and Off-Page Search Optimization – Are You Prepared for the Future

When you do your on-page search optimization efficiently, your listing will be more attractive and the users will benefit, as a consequence, even before they click to visit your web page.

It is the combination of on-page and off-page search optimization which provides an overview of the search engine results for a given keyword. On-page optimization is an inbound linking strategy that enhances your keyword density, increases the number of links from other high page rank websites to your website, optimizes your site’s title and META TAGS, and enhances your site’s content. Off-page optimization is an outbound linking strategy and is a strategy to increase your links from other websites to your websites in bulk. This off-page optimization is one of the most important aspect of search engine optimization. The more links you have from other websites the more are your chances to be listed in the first page of Google for a given keyword. The off-page optimization consists of the submission of articles, videos, blogs, RSS feeds, press releases, forums and blogs to a number of directories. This off-page optimization technique gives your website greater exposure to the user’s searches.

Off-page optimization consists of submitting your website to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit, Technorati, Bing, Twitter, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Flickriver and Delicious.

Off-page optimization is the process of optimizing your website’s HTML code and your website’s content to improve their search-ability in the search engines.

Off-page optimization is a technique which helps to improve the traffic on your web pages. You will get more traffic to your website if you have many back links. The number of back links are the number of websites which link to your website. Linking to a wide variety of websites allows you to get a large number of links. This technique is a link building strategy which helps to improve the page rank of your websites. Off-page optimization will help you in making the most of your keywords. A good link building strategy for the development of your site is a major determinant for the success of your site.
