7 Tips To Generate Leads From Your Website

You could write a whole book on optimizing a website for lead generation. Or, as marketers know it, for “lead generation”. In fact, many companies have already implemented various techniques for capturing leads, and if we talk to them, they will probably all confirm with satisfaction that it has been one of the best changes made to their website. And the optimization of generating leads is the most important responsibility for new marketers. So much so that for many it even serves to define their work.

There are many small “improvements” that can be made to a website to optimize lead generation, but most companies have not even implemented the basics. And it’s probably because they don’t even know where to start. For this reason, here we want to share with you some of the strategies that have worked best for us in the maximum objective of generating as many leads as possible.

1) Create Closed Premium Content And Associated Landing Pages.

Create Premium content every 1-2 weeks that deals in depth with one of the topics. Don’t panic: you don’t always have to create top-quality content or do it so assiduously. Start with one or two Premium content (which can be in the form of an e-book, guide, tutorial …) and you will create more over time. Make this content well visible on your website and make it easy for the reader to understand that it can be downloaded easily. The price? An e-mail address.

2) Implement Calls To Action (CTA) At The End Of Your Blog Posts.

We firmly believe that a blog with a good content strategy can attract not only followers of our brand, but also leads that are potential clients of the brand. An uncomplicated way to do this is by putting a short call-to-action (CTA) or explanatory call-to-action at the end of each blog post you post. It was content strategy and our driver leads primary, but this simple tactic makes our blog into a powerful generator leads.

Look at the example below. The key here is to be brief, direct, and to the point. You can also make CTAs more visually appealing, even by creating real buttons that lead to a landing page.

3) Make Your Closed Content (Premium) Shareable.

Oh, share buttons, how we love you! And it is that they turn the network into a team of volunteers willing to share your Premium content by including your landing pages. social sharing buttons on social networks, you can see a spectacular increase in the generation of leads from these landing pages so that your visitors share the content on their social networks. 4) Offer Your Premium Content Prominently.

You want as many people as possible to come into contact with your Premium content, which means that you have to offer them a good – if not the best – place in your forms of communication. For example, we always offer our e-books and guides for our email on our mailing list and in our weekly newsletter, and we also place them strategically on the right side of our blog, as part of the content strategy.

5) Make Your Lead Capture Forms Fun.

Well, this is not a basic requirement, but once you have created your first landing pages, it would be a great initial A / B test to see if the conversion can be improved: make a regular form and another that makes, in the process of filling out the form, you can get a smile from whoever is on the other side of the screen.

6) Do A / B Tests.

Should the first thing people see when they visit your website be closed Premium content? Or should it be a video of the product? While it may be tempting to fill your web call to action to encourage the generation of leads, we must practice some moderation, because a lot of factors decide whether it is a good idea. The best way to resolve this debate is through data, and A / B tests can give it to you.
